Detroit and Windsor’s funniest women are taking over the stage.
GRLS RVLT brings together two of the region’s standout comedy showcases: 6Detroit comedian Patty Rooney’s GRLS GRLS GRLS and Windsor producer and comedian Jen Richardson’s Good Girls Revolt. Together, they’ve created a cross-border showcase featuring some of the best women in comedy from Detroit, Windsor, and Toronto.
The lineup features nationally touring comics, festival performers, television personalities, and rising stars, all delivering sharp, fearless stand-up.

Patty Rooney
A Detroit-based stand-up, writer, and improviser known for her self-deprecating humour and honest takes on family life. Patty has become a staple of the Michigan comedy scene and has shared the stage with Pete Davidson, Tim Meadows, Paul Virzi, Alex English, and Fiona Cauley.
Melanie Hearn
One of Detroit’s fastest-rising comedians, Melanie combines fearless crowd work with relatable storytelling. She recently performed at the Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival and has opened for Maria Bamford, Preacher Lawson, and Mark Curry. She is also a regular contributor on WDIV’s Live in the D.
Emma Stevenson
A Metro Detroit favourite known for her smart joke writing, observational comedy, and pop culture references. Emma regularly opens for touring headliners throughout the Midwest, including Bobcat Goldthwait and Greg Morton, and has appeared at the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival.
Jen Richardson
A Windsor-based comedian whose charming, awkward, dark, and surprisingly relatable comedy has earned sold-out shows across Windsor and Toronto, with regular performances throughout Michigan. She has shared the stage with comedians including Courtney Gilmour and Brad Wenzel and is the creator of Good Girls Revolt.
Special Guest: Winny Clarke (Toronto)
Originally from the Netherlands and now based in Toronto, Winny Clarke is an actor and stand-up comedian known for her playful energy, effortless charm, and hilarious takes on relationships, identity, and everyday life. She has performed at the Danforth Comedy Festival and Fem Comedy Fiesta.
