Welcome to Backroom Comedy Club 🎭
Get ready to laugh till it hurts at Backroom Comedy Club, Toronto’s premier destination for hilarious live entertainment.
Founded in late February 2022 by two comedians passionate about their craft, our intimate 50-seater venue boasts a dynamic lineup of “New York” or “TikTok” style comedy acts, where more comedians take the stage for less time, keeping the laughter flowing. With shows EVERY day BUT Tuesday at both 8 PM and 10 PM and unique events on Sundays and Mondays, there’s never a dull moment at Backroom.
But that’s not all! Dive into our cultural showcases EVERY Saturday night at 6 PM, featuring comedy in Turkish, Mandarin, Spanish, French, and Desi. Plus, don’t miss our midnight show every Saturday (technically Sunday) for a dose of late-night laughter (may 24 until labour day).
And don’t forget to explore our bar downstairs featuring craft beer, shooters, and cocktails/mocktails, and a delectable array of food and beverages upstairs!

Half Hamiltonian, Half South-African, and 100% Jewish (when profitable), @brandojokes and @arielkagancomedian are @bubbiesboyspresents.
Founded in 2020, the boys once co-hosted the Bubbie’s Boys Podcast, and co-headlined the Bubbie’s Boys Comedy Tour across Canada before putting all of their energy being co-dependent on each other as the co-owners of @backroomcomedyclub
