8PM SUNDAY NEW MATERIAL NIGHT

Hear the jokes before anyone else does.

Every Sunday at 8 PM, Toronto comedians bring the newest stuff they’ve got to the Backroom stage. Some of it is brand new. Some of it is a bit they’re about to take on the road. All of it is happening in front of you first.

It’s loose, it’s honest, and it’s the closest you’ll get to watching a joke get built. When something lands for the first time, you were there.
