🥋 THE INITIATION SHOWCASE
Saturdays at 6 PM · Backroom Comedy Club, 814 Bloor St W, Toronto
Every comic on this show just finished Dojo Premiere, Comedy Dojo Toronto’s 4-week stand-up program. They spent a month writing, getting coached by the club’s founders, rewriting and testing. Tonight is their first real five minutes on a Saturday night stage.
This isn’t a polished industry showcase. It’s people with real jobs and real lives taking real swings in front of a live crowd. Some will crush. Some will find something new mid-set. All of it is live.
EXPECT
- Stand-up from brand new comedians
- Raw storytelling and first-time bits
- A room full of friends, family and comedy fans on their side
Come support someone you know, or see what Comedy Dojo is about. Stick around for the 8 PM Saturday Pro Show after.
🥋 Comedy Dojo Toronto is the stand-up training program run out of Backroom Comedy Club. Want to be on this stage? Start with Dojo Foundations or Dojo Premiere.
